RUSTENBURG
'PERIOD FREEDOM INITATIVE'
The Rustenburg Period Freedom Initiative is an initiative aimed at providing
5000 SCHOOL GIRLS
in Rustenburg, with Menstrual cup kits that will last them up to
10 YEARS!
''That's 10 years without having to buy any pads or tampon products.''
How does it work?
Local organisations, businesses and individuals can make a
donation of R300, R600 or R900 (or more) in order to sponsor
one or more girls with their own Menstrual cup kit. Cuplings
Foundation will then takes those donations, sources Menstrual kits
and takes the kits to our local beneficiaries such as FAMSA,
Spes Bona and local schools in Oos Einder, Tlhabane, Kaarlien Park
and Noord. Cuplings Foundation also ensures that proper workshops
are conducted and that there are adequate workshop reports provided
after every workshop. You can follow the program on social media for
regular updates.
What makes this initiative special?
By joining the Period Freedom Initiative, you can help end Period Poverty for
girls living in South Africa. The menstrual kit provided is eco friendly, non toxic and
lasts one girl up to 10 years. Yes! That means for the next 10 years, girls who recieve
a menstrual kit will not have to worry about buying any sanitary products.
One menstrual kit costs our Foundation R300 / £16 / $20
*100% of all donatons made go towards aquiring menstrual kits*
