#MAKE A DIFFERENCE
What is the Cuplings Medical Fraternity?
The Cuplings International Medical Fraternity (CIMF) is an online global network of more than 100 medical professionals who are in support of the introduction and adoption of menstrual cups in local African communities.

There are over 2.5 millions girls in South Africa alone who miss one week of school every month, which is up to three months a year of school due to lack of access to sanity products. These numbers are even more severe in other Africa countries. It is estimated that there are more than 100 million women and girls throughout Africa, who do not have access to menstrual health products. Often times these school girls and women are forced to use news papers, dirty rags and even cow dung to manage their period. Your voice can help us make a difference!

By joining the Cuplings Medical Fraternity, you help strengthen the argument for menstrual cups as an alternative for young African girls. Many people in Africa still believe in the taboos and stigmas such as 'Menstrual Cups will break a girls virginity' or 'Menstrual Cups are not safe and healthy for a girl to use'. These are some of the barriers we experience as a menstrual health foundation and the major hurdles we face as we engage with villages, tribes and even modern African communities such as townships.

Simply signing up and being part of CIMF adds significant weight to the argument and the validity of menstrual cups as a healthy, eco friendly, long term, sustainable alternative for girls and women who cannot afford to buy menstrual health products every month.
